Frequently Asked Questions

The Bridal Edition

Here you’ll find a number of frequently asked questions about my bridal services and offerings. I tried to include a variety of FAQs, but if you still have questions after going through the list, please get in touch directly and I’ll answer any questions you have. I am happy to hear from you, and would love to glam you up for your big day!

Do you offer package deals?

Hollie doesn't currently offer package deals for bridal bookings but she does have a minimum booking fee. This is a minimum of 4 adult makeup applications

How do I pay?

Hollie takes payments in instalments prior to your wedding date. Firstly a £50 deposit is taken upon booking to secure your wedding date. The second payment is due on your bridal trial and then your final payment will be taken one week prior to your wedding. Hollie does this so that her brides have one less supplier payment to think about on the final build up to their special day. Hollie currently accepts cash, PayPal or bank transfer.

Please note that bookings are not secured until the deposit has been paid

Will you come to us?

Yes, Hollie offers mobile services for bridal bookings and will come to the venue/address you'll getting ready at. Please note this may require additional travel charge.
However, your trial will be held at Impact Studio in Swindon where Hollie is based from.

Will you stay all day?

Wedding mornings are full of excitement, nerves and emotions so Hollie will be there for any needed makeup touch ups until the very last moment before the bride leaves to get married.

Will you bring an assistant?

Hollie doesn't currently have a makeup assistant that she provides as a service. However, she works very closely with a group of makeup artists who she will recommend to the bride if a second makeup artist is needed for large bookings, providing the minimum booking is met.

Do you do bridal hair?

No, Hollie doesn't offer any hair services but she can recommend incredible hairstylists that she regularly works with.

It's an early start, will my makeup last?

Absolutely! Hollie will stay with you and your bridal party until you walk down the aisle to ensure your makeup remains flawless for your ceremony- this will then continue to last throughout the evening. Incase of any happy tears Hollie will have already provided a list of makeup on the trial date that she recommends you have with you for touch ups after your ceremony and wedding breakfast.

I don't want/can't have a trial, can I book without?

Makeup is a very personal thing and Hollie believes there's no rights or wrongs with bridal styles, it all comes down to personal preference and how you feel your best. Even for brides who don't usually wear makeup or are sure of the style they want, they might feel different when it's on them and Hollie may not have the time on the wedding morning to make any changes which is why she doesn't usually offer bridal services without a trial. However this is something Hollie will happily discuss with brides if a trial isn't possible!

When will I have my trial?

Hollie recommends for brides to have their trial 3-6 months prior to the wedding day. This is so that there's time to think over the look and make any changes if needed but also so its close enough for the bride to know their colour theme, hair style & for makeup trends to remain the same.
Hollie asks brides to come to the bridal trial wearing a colour similar to the wedding dress, hair in a similar style to the wedding hair and tanned if brides are planning on having a spray tan for the wedding -as all this plays its part in the makeup style/application.
